Dublin, California

D ublin, California is a well manicured community in the San Francisco Bay area. As part of Alameda County, Dublin is located in a highly desirable part of the country, with easy access to both cities of San Francisco and Oakland. Diverse, intelligent and active are but some of the terms used to describe Dublin's residents. While some choose to commute across the magnificent San Francisco Bay Bridge for dining or shopping, most residents find they have enough activities right in their own proverbial backyards to make the journey unnecessary.

The weather here is not the foggy, misty gray that most imagine when thinking of the Bay Area. Rather, this area called East Bay tends to have a temperate climate, with hills buffering the cities to create a variety of microclimates. Because of this, if you find yourself chilly in the hills, a simple drive to a neighboring community could reward you with some much-needed sun. In the fall, dry winds called Diablos (Spanish for “devils”) sometimes blow through the hills, creating what is known in other parts of the country as Indian summer.
